Casual Admin Support

The Cochrane Counselling Centre is a busy mental health clinic located in Sunset, looking for an Administrative Support Team Member. This position is ideal for someone who wants to work remotely, is passionate about assisting in the mental health care field, and is extremely detail-oriented. Administrative Support involves speaking directly with clientele and therefore both excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

 

You will need your own computer and phone, including a reliable internet connection, to perform this job. The Cochrane Counselling Centre is an inclusive hiring space, but please note the location is on the second floor of a professional centre that does not have elevator access. Administrative experience is preferred, but not necessary. This position requires approximately 15-20 hours per week with room for growth.

 

Tasks include but are not limited to:

 

  • Clinic intake inquiries 

  • Use Owl software to manage client files and calendars

  • Provide monthly summary information to owners

  • Maintain and use Google Docs/Sheets

  • Direct billing for several insurance companies

  • Accounts receivables for clients, and payables for clinicians

  • Maintain policy manual

  • Maintain PsychToday profiles

  • Social Media marketing, including Google Ads

  • Design marketing materials

  • Other administrative tasks as needed such as letter writing, client verification, setting up new therapists, facilitating Zoom meetings, technology problem solving, etc.

Job Type: Contract (work from home, flexible work hours).

Salary: $22/hour (increases with more responsibility)
